The Smashing Pumpkins 的 The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning 放在 Watchmen 的预告片(新)里实在是应景，酷得一塌糊涂，颓废得无与伦比，据说这首歌是 The Smashing Pumpkins 早年为 Batman 所写，是 The End Is The Beginning Is The End 的姊妹篇，曲调完全一致，歌词略有不同，这首歌收录在1997年《蝙蝠侠与罗宾》的电影原声的 B 碟中，又据说这首歌在 iTunes 上位居碎南瓜歌曲下载榜首，可见其风靡程度。暂且不管这部好莱坞式的科幻巨献会否又是好莱坞式的豪华整容+绚丽特效+空洞主题+苍白主线，这首后期 remix 版的 The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning 还是值得一听的......
