Google Desktop Search Beta Download

Google Desktop Search(Beta)

　　Seaarch!Search!Search!Google终于搜到家门口了，Google Desktop Search现在开始公开测试下载，安装后仍然是依托浏览器，界面就像上面的图片，可以在本地索引和搜索包括Outlook email、Outlook Express email、AOL IM聊天记录、Word、Excel、PowerPoint、文本及其他、网页和HTTPS安全协议网页历史记录(言下之意就是连GMail一块包圆了)，同时可以设置与网际搜索结果混合显示。刚才走去洗手间，这么一小会儿，机器一idle它便开始抽空indexing数据了，真体贴^^
　　顺便这里有一篇来自searchenginewatch.com关于本地数据索引安全问题的文章值得一看。

    我装了一个，几天以后发现它的索引文件已经吃了我500多M的硬盘了，空间不富裕，只好删了......
